LHH is actively seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist for one of our top clients in FinTech! This will be a long term 100% remote contract opportunity with our client.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Loan Servicing Specialist to support loan operations and risk mitigation within the business financing space. This role is responsible for managing loan servicing workflows, resolving customer inquiries, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop subject matter expertise in day-to-day loan servicing queue operations.
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries efficiently via email using a CRM platform.
- Assess and triage escalations by understanding a borrower’s position within the loan lifecycle to effectively mitigate risk.
- Meet or exceed established service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely resolution of transactions and minimize potential revenue loss.
- Identify, document, and partner with cross-functional teams to address product bugs, enhancements, and process improvements.
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and perform required compliance-related responsibilities.
- Thrive in a remote or distributed work environment, collaborating effectively via Slack, video conferencing, and other digital tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Working knowledge of financial services regulations and banking compliance policies, including BSA/AML.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a direct customer-facing role.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute within a growing, evolving business.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and accountability.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.87 per hour
