Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in company databases and systems. The candidate must possess excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately input data into company databases and systems
Verify and review data for errors or discrepancies
Maintain and update records as needed
Retrieve data from the database upon request
Prepare and sort documents for data entry
Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
Assist with administrative tasks when required
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role
Fast typing skills (40–60 WPM preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
