Contract Role – Hands-On, Fast-Paced, High-Impact
We’re seeking an experienced Instructional Designer who can step in immediately, work independently, and deliver polished training materials with minimal oversight. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys shaping learning experiences for large-scale transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Refine and enhance vendor-provided Planview program training materials for clarity, usability, and alignment with program standards
- Develop additional training content in partnership with the Program (PRG) Team and OCM Team
- Package content to clearly communicate process impacts, system changes, and role-specific implications
- Create or refine training assets, including short videos (e.g., using Clipchamp)
- Collaborate with SMEs and internal teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with the broader change strategy
- Ramp up quickly and begin executing tasks with minimal onboarding time
- Break down content by role and build tailored materials for each audience segment
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of instructional design, training development, web design, or performance-improvement experience
OR
- High School Diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience
Top Must-Have Skills
- Experience with Planview or similar portfolio/project management tools
- Proven ability to deliver training for enterprise applications, portfolio management platforms, or technology transformation programs
- Strong instructional design, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, role-specific learning materials
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (PMO, IT, Operations)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving program environments
