What You’ll Do
Are you results-focused and love to help others? Do you have a passion for maximizing sales opportunities? In this role, you’ll use your needs-based sales approach effectively, recommending client products that match each member’s lifestyle and requirements. Focused on educating the customer on their current product(s), you’ll also identify and capitalize on all other sale opportunities for products that may pair well with their current products and future needs. Whether it’s getting answers for customers quickly, consulting on products with compassion or resolving their issues with a smile, you’ll be the difference between their customer experience being just average or an exceptional one.
You'll report to the Sales Manager. You’ll contribute to the success of the customer experience as well as the overall success of the team.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Liaise with tour operators, operations departments, hotels, and other organisations where required
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Hotels & Holiday products, pricing and operators
- Accurately process bookings in the computerised reservations system and undertake any associated administration tasks
- Delivering exceptional service in order to sell flights, accommodation, cruises, tours and related travel over the phone, Chat and via email
- Bring your strong product and brand knowledge, goal setting experience, and passion to negotiate and close a sale, handle objections and rebuttals during customer interactions
What You Bring to the Role
- One year or more sales experience in a similar field.
- Experience supporting flight, hotel, and holiday booking processes would be beneficial
- Experience in B2B and B2C environment preferred
- Self-starter and results-oriented
- Ability to manage communications and full lifecycle sales in an omnichannel communication environment, which could include outbound sales, email and chat
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts that could include weekdays 9am to 8pm and Saturdays 9am to 2pm
- Hybrid working model – Work remotely after completing classroom training & on the job learning on Site in Gosford
