General Purpose of the Position: As a member of the JMC warehouse team, you will be expected to perform all warehouse involved functions such as replenish all pick locations, select orders with speed and accuracy, in an ambient, chill, and frozen environment, accurately receive and stock inbound freight coming from outside and inside vendors, possess a “whatever it takes” attitude, while being committed to a safe and positive work environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Accurately select orders for multiple customers/concepts, in an ambient, chill, and frozen environment
• Palletize selected product in an orderly and efficient manner
• Unload, Receive and stock incoming freight from all vendors
• Replenish pick bay locations as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
• Participate in weekly, monthly, and annual inventories
• Achieve productivity targets, such as CPH, error rates, etc.
• Contribute to a culture/environment focused on food safety/AIB compliance
• Must be able to safely and efficiently operate standup forklifts and electric pallet jacks
Skills and Abilities Required:
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good math, language, and reading skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Current shift hours are Monday through Friday. Thursdays are currently off. Must be able to work overtime, and weekends, when necessary
Education and Experience Required:
• High School Diploma/GED
• 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience required, preferably in food distribution
• Testing will be conducted so candidates can demonstrate their ability to safely, and efficiently, operate MHE, such as: standup forklifts and electric pallets jacks
Schedule: Work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
