About the Role
MIRACORP, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to provide accurate and timely data entry support for the U.S. Department of Energy. This role is responsible for entering and maintaining records across various databases and software systems, ensuring data integrity, completeness, and accessibility. The position also supports basic reporting, documentation, and clerical tasks in a fast-paced federal environment.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Essential Functions
Location: U.S. Department of Energy, Idaho Falls, ID
Data Entry & Records Management
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into federal databases and software systems
- Maintain records and files in accordance with DOE procedures
- Ensure data integrity, completeness, and consistency across systems
- Assist with scanning, organizing, and archiving documentation
Reporting & Documentation Support
- Prepare basic spreadsheets, logs, and reports based on entered data
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Support document control activities as needed
Clerical & Office Support
- Support general clerical tasks and office operations
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Assist with routine administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of data entry or clerical support experience
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal or government offices
- Familiarity with DOE systems or document control procedures
- Experience with shared drives or basic database entry
