We are seeking a skilled Drill Rig Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair drill rigs and related
heavy equipment. This role ensures safe and efficient operations in the field and supports our environmental and geotechnical projects.
Duties:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on drill rigs and associated equipment. Diagnose
mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and implement effective repairs. Maintain accurate service
records and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with operators and supervisors to
minimize downtime and optimize performance. Order and manage parts inventory as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment or drill rig maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and remote locations.
