The General Manager manages the operational and administrative functions of all regional offices and brands. The position also collaborates effectively with sales and service leadership to ensure a high level of efficiency, productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role has active participation in setting goals for sales, margin, operating costs, and inventory by department, monitoring progress toward those goals, and taking action required to meet or exceed them.
This position strategically leads the remote office by cultivating and sustaining the company culture, vision, and mission. Working collaboratively with the CEO and other management partners to set and achieve long-range strategic objectives, implement comprehensive business development projects, and ensure company policies and procedures are upheld.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage sales, service, and operations teams- for both the home and commercial markets. Ensure all members of the team uphold customer service and facility operating standards and timelines
- Collaborate with the regional service manager to ensure the service department is providing great service to customers in an effective and efficient manner
- Collaborate with the Equipment Sales Director, the Product Department Director, and the CEO to identify markets to target for sales growth
- HR responsibilities include onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and terminations
- Engage as a company representative with the local community to establish and maintain a personal network
- Maintain industry knowledge of equipment, service, water treatment, and products applicable to the company's sales strategy
- Uphold a brand standard of company facilities through proper security, maintenance, and overall appearance of offices, showrooms, and warehouses
- Provide technical training and support for the team
- P&L, budget, cost control, expense monitoring, and reporting
- Establish and maintain a monthly equipment and parts inventory
- Payroll and time tracking
- Assist in accounts receivable collections
- Other duties as assigned

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and Vo-Tech school degree; or four years related experience, including one to two years experience supervising employees; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
