URGENT HIRING: US TAX MANAGER

Responsibilities
The US Tax Manager will ensure Carenet’s federal and multi-state compliance and reporting to planning and strategy. In this role, you’ll:
Lead federal and multi-state income tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filing of returns, extensions, and related payments.
Prepare and review estimated and extension tax payments in compliance with applicable regulations.
Manage federal and state tax compliance systems, maintaining data accuracy and efficient processes.
Conduct tax research and planning initiatives to reduce federal, state, and franchise tax exposure.
Analyze complex tax matters, including consolidated filings and tax accounting issues.
Prepare and support income tax provisions, reconciliations, and tax-related journal entries.
Resolve book-to-tax differences impacting the general ledger and financial reporting.
Oversee third-party payroll tax filings and manage related vendor relationships.
Support state income tax audits by coordinating documentation and communications with tax authorities.
Develop tax reporting, metrics, and analyses to assess operational and financial impacts.
Perform GL-related activities, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and depreciation tracking.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external advisors to ensure timely, high-quality tax outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s in Tax strongly preferred.
- 4+ years of income tax experience in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department
- Familiarity with federal pass-through returns (S corporation) and multi-state income tax compliance.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax regulations, compliance, and tax accounting.
- Experience with tax compliance and reporting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, charts), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities with the ability to interpret complex tax guidance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of leadership.
- Ability to prepare clear reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and across functions.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Willing to work PH night shift
