Position Summary:
The SKYTRAK Social Media Content Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing engaging, high-quality social media content that represents the SKYTRAK brand across all major platforms. This role plays a critical part in strengthening SKYTRAK’s presence within the simulator golf community by delivering authentic, informative, and performance-driven content tailored to golfers who practice and play indoors.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of planning content calendars, analyzing performance, and serving as an on-camera presence to showcase SKYTRAK products, gameplay, and real-world use cases. This is a hybrid/remote position well-suited for a self-motivated individual who understands simulator golf culture and can translate that knowledge into compelling social content that educates, inspires, and engages the SKYTRAK community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media content strategy that aligns with the company's brand identity and objectives.
- Serve as an on-camera talent for video content, showcasing product use, gameplay, and engaging storytelling to educate and entertain viewers.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, videos, articles) to ensure it meets brand guidelines and resonates with our target audience.
- Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for content creation and engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to gather content ideas, assets, and ensure consistency across all channels.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and customer retention.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to optimize content performance and inform future strategies.
- Stay informed about emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices, and continuously explore innovative ways to enhance our social media presence.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, preferably in the golf industry.
- Strong passion for golf and a solid understanding of golf culture, trends, and terminology.
- Proficient in using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation/editing software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms and target audiences.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and generate innovative content ideas.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with community management and customer service through social media platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and experience with optimizing social media content for search engines is a plus.
- A proven track record of successfully managing social media campaigns and delivering measurable results.
- Love for golf and simulator golf is a must!
