We’re looking for a detail‑oriented AR Specialist to work in a long-term (9-12 month) contract assignment. In this fully remote role, you’ll handle payment application, chargeback resolution, and follow-up on accounts.
Schedule: 8:30 am–5:30 pm CST, Monday–Friday
Location: Remote (US)
Time zones: Eastern or Central preferred
What you’ll do
- Oversee a portfolio of accounts, including adjustments, customer outreach, reconciliations, and monthly reporting.
- Apply customer payments quickly and accurately from portals, EDI, or email and post to the ERP
- Review, code, and document chargebacks; gather supporting proof across portals, reports, and internal stakeholders
- Initiate and track disputes; communicate clearly and professionally with customers through to resolution
- Partner cross‑functionally to confirm approvals for deductions/chargebacks
- Reconcile AR accounts and resolve issues end‑to‑end
- Manage the AR inbox and lockbox
- Prepare customer statements and AR Aging Reports
- Work AR aging proactively—engage customers (mostly via email) to collect past‑due balances and clear aged items; very few outbound calls
- Spot process gaps and propose improvements to drive efficiency
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of AR experience (consumer products, consumer packaged goods/beauty products, or e‑commerce environment industry experience required)
- Experience resolving AR issues with large retailers and/or e-commerce companies that use large customer platforms/portals
- ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, or Dynamics a must)
- Strong Excel skills (you’re comfortable with formulas and Vlookup’s)
- Experience using Google Suite (Drive, Email, Sheets, Calendar)
- Clear communicator—concise in writing and confident collaborating across teams
- Self‑starter & team player who thrives in a fast‑moving, remote environment

- Remote, US‑based - Eastern or Central time zones preferred
- Hours: 8:30 am–5:30 pm CST, Monday–Friday
- 9-12+ month temporary role (Contract Assignment)
Pay Details:$27.00 to $33.50 per hour
