Morning Intake Coordinator
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Are you the calm in the chaos, the organizer of details, and the friendly first voice people remember?
We’re looking for a high-integrity Intake Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of precision, professionalism, and compassion—especially when serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and those seeking housing support services.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, confidentiality, and meaningful work, and who prefers being in-office as their primary workspace, with some remote flexibility as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for new IDD and housing support referrals
- Process and manage intake documentation accurately and efficiently
- Conduct intake screenings, verify eligibility, and ensure completeness of records
- Coordinate with internal teams, case managers, and external partners
- Maintain compliance with IDD and housing support regulations and standards
- Communicate professionally with families, support coordinators, and stakeholders
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and empathy
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years experience in:
- Medical intake, healthcare administration, IDD services, or
- Customer service in a regulated or professional environment
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Comfortable with technology and learning new systems quickly
- Professional demeanor and judgment at all times.
Work Environment & Requirements
- Hybrid role (strong preference for candidates who thrive in an office setting)
- Remote work may be available occasionally, but this is not a fully remote position
- Must have:
- High-speed, reliable internet
- Ability to use their own device when working remotely
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to manage time independently
