In this role, you’ll serve as a key bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams, analyzing needs, translating them into precise requirements and acceptance criteria, and confidently engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into well-defined user stories supported by acceptance criteria, process flows, and wireframes to clearly communicate functional requirements.
Document current and future state processes using process flow diagrams and conduct thorough gap analyses.
Evaluate and balance business objectives with technical feasibility and long-term sustainability.
Ensure shared understanding and agreement on requirements throughout design, development, and deployment phases.
Participate in Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Functional Testing as needed to validate solutions.
Perform detailed data and use case analysis across systems and integrations to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate closely with the Solution Manager and technical teams to convert customer and product needs into practical, achievable features and enhancements.
Partner with the Solution Development team to gather and analyze metrics and continuously improve team-owned processes.
Provide regular status updates on business analysis activities and escalate risks or issues to the Solution Manager.
Serve as a subject matter expert representing the Solution Development team.
Understand product and customer priorities across multiple initiatives and advise on sequencing and prioritization to maximize business value.
Lead and facilitate meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, team members, and clients.
Coordinate efforts across multiple teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in a Business Analyst or similar role
Broad knowledge of solution development, IT processes, tools, techniques, and production/infrastructure operations
Experience supporting 24/7 call center technologies, reporting, remote workforce environments, and database concepts preferred
Strong analytical skills with experience managing complex technical projects and working with both custom-built and packaged applications
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills
Familiarity with Agile practices, including Scrum ceremonies such as stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Ability to interpret business and technical documentation, regulations, and industry publications, and produce clear reports and procedural documentation
Advanced PC proficiency, including strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email, database, and internet-based tools
Preferred knowledge of diverse technologies and platforms such as Crystal Reports, Microsoft Server systems (IIS, SharePoint), .NET, TCP/IP, VPNs, and WAN architectures
