Key Responsibilities
1. Mastery of Agency Management Systems
The role demands hands-on experience with prominent AMS platforms including EPIC, Applied TAM, AMS360, Ezlynx, PL Rater, and CSR24. These systems form the digital backbone for insurance operations—managing client data, policy documentation, renewals, and correspondence. The specialist is expected to seamlessly navigate these systems, ensuring data accuracy, facilitating fast processing, and maintaining a real-time overview of agency activities.
2. ACORD Forms and Documentation
The specialist ensures that each form is accurately completed, complies with regulatory standards, and is delivered to stakeholders promptly.
3. Collaboration with Agencies, MGAs, and Wholesalers
Success in this position hinges on the ability to work closely with insurance agencies, Managing General Agents (MGAs), and wholesalers. Unlike carrier-facing roles, this position centers on supporting agency operations, understanding their workflows, and streamlining collaborative processes to enhance policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals.
4. Carrier Portal Proficiency
Navigating leading insurance carrier portals—including Travelers, AmTrust, Hartford, Progressive, Liberty Mutual, and Chubb—is essential for quoting, binding, servicing, and tracking policies. The role requires adept handling of digital submissions, quote comparisons, and documentation retrieval to optimize outcomes for both clients and the agency.
5. Expertise in Personal Lines Insurance
A solid grounding in personal lines—Homeowners, Personal Auto, and Umbrella policies—is required. The specialist not only supports quoting and servicing but brings added value through accurate homeowners rating, ensuring customers are
