💼 Position Details
- Job Title: Computer Operator - Intermediate
- Contract Duration: 12 Months from the projected start date, with the possibility of extension
- Estimated Start Date: December 22, 2025
- Work Location: 100% Remote
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $29.98/hour
- Location Note: Candidate must be a current resident of South Carolina
🎯 The Day-to-Day Mission
As a Computer Operator, you will be crucial in supporting the IT consultants by managing essential administrative and data tasks. Your primary duties will include:
- Gathering infrastructure data and updating Excel spreadsheets for the billing department.
- Performing monthly billing data extraction from Solarwinds and Excel, and transposing the data for billing.
- Managing and supporting an interactive dashboard and handling asset management tasks.
- Providing Tier 1 support as a backup to the BMC Footprints administrator.
- Documenting processes and collaborating with the Tech Writer to update and verify procedural steps.
- Automating tasks wherever possible.
- Maintaining an Executive Dashboard.
✅ Required Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who is ready to make a significant contribution with minimal supervision.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Technical Skills (Must demonstrate required experience):
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (including queries, reporting, and analytics)
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI
- 1+ year of experience with BMC Footprints ticketing system
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with staff and contractors.
🌟 Preferred Skills (The Icing on the Cake)
Candidates with the following experience will stand out:
- Previous experience participating in software upgrade, Change Management, and Release Management procedures.
- Experience with Incident Management and Microsoft Project.
- Background in healthcare or insurance-related information technology, Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), Medicaid eligibility, or social services eligibility is helpful, though not required.
