The Renewal Specialist will be involved with the day to day administration of renewals and financially related functions of the business. The Renewal Specialist will execute annual price increases while maximizing retention rates and maintaining a positive relationship with our customers. The Renewal Specialist communicates regularly with customers regarding contract questions, renewal questions, etc. This position is for someone who is interested in being a strong individual-contributor on a highly entrepreneurial team.
What You Will do
- Send monthly renewal quotes to customers.
- Process and administer renewal quotes/contracts for customers in Salesforce.
- Submit renewal contracts for customer signature.
- Discuss annual price increases with customers and negotiate/pushback on customers as necessary.
- Research and resolve customer inquiries/disputes as they arise via email/phone through cases and video meetings as needed.
- Maintain records in the subscription management system.
- Provide internal support to sales, legal, finance, and customer success teams.
- Navigate and find necessary information in contract documents.
- Be the primary contact for renewal related communication and the process that supports it.
- Identify inefficiencies in the process and promote improvement of areas identified.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- What You Have
- 3+ years of experience in renewal execution and negotiation preferred
- 1-3 years of working experience in software sales, account management, or customer service environment a plus
- Experience working directly with customers required
- Sharp attention to detail with excellent organization skills required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- SaaS (Software as a Service) experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Salesforce is a plus
- Google experience preferred
