Code Metal enables automotive OEMs and suppliers to translate complex software models into safe, efficient embedded code. We’re hiring a vertical lead to expand our presence with industry leaders like Ford, Tesla, GM, and Rivian.
The Role:
This role sits at the intersection of business development, customer success, technical collaboration, and long-term account growth —ideal for someone who understands the automotive ecosystem, and its engineering pain points, and can quarterback engagements from introduction to execution. You’ll advance day-to-day pipeline activity, working closely with product and engineering leads to expand at existing customers and identify new opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Build strategic relationships across the automotive ecosystem (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, integrators)
- Identify opportunities for AI-assisted code translation to accelerate hardware and ADAS innovation
- Partner with engineering to align platform delivery with customer requirements
- Manage account growth and long-term success across programs
- Represent Code Metal at industry conferences and customer demos
- Drive customer success outcomes: onboard teams, establish cadences, monitor adoption/health, and intervene early to de-risk implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5–8 years of business development or customer success experience
- Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate complex organizations. Understanding of automotive development cycles, supplier ecosystems, and engineering organizations a plus.
- Lead the customer success lifecycle—driving adoption, building trusted relationships, and proactively managing account health to prevent churn and accelerate expansion.
- Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise relationships and technical partnerships
- Demonstrates high ownership, a strong bias for action, and a “quarterback” mindset that drives coordination and results.

- Pay depends on experience, but we strive to be at the upper end of the salary range
