Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HMI systems. Your typical tasks will include:
• Design & Development: Designing, writing, converting, and implementing software for generator control switchgear HMI applications.
• Hardware Configuration: Configuring, programming, and testing HMI hardware.
• Collaboration & Validation: Working with Power System Engineers to test and validate HMI programming.
• Support: Troubleshooting and providing remote support for HMI issues in the field and during installation.
• Project Execution: Assisting in following an electrical design schedule to meet overall project deadlines.
Team & Work Environment
• Team Structure: You will report to an HMI Manager and join a team of 4 other engineers (2 Senior, 2 Engineers).
• Daily Interaction: You will work closely with the HMI team and collaborate extensively with the Power System Engineering team for testing and validation.
• Work Setting: The role involves a mix of office work, lab testing, and time on the manufacturing floor.
