We are currently seeking a full-time 100% remote Cloud Engineer who can perform tasks related to Terraform, K8s, and mid-level cloud tasks. This engineer will be performing tasks related to 1-3 client projects for our professional and managed services division.

Responsibilities
- Comfortable performing requirements analysis, interfacing with stakeholders of various levels, and documenting solutions
- Actively communicate project status and progress through detailed updates in Jira tickets, ensuring visibility for engineers, clients, and the PMO.
- Log time in Jira tickets as tasks are being worked on and update Harvest daily to facilitate PMO review.
- Assist in architecting and managing all types of growing applications/infrastructure
- Respond in a timely manner to issues that are surfaced from the MS team or client during the shift. Be available after hours to assist with escalations that are of immediate need from the MS team.
- Be a part of the team meetings & knowledge exchanges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement optimized practices for existing and emerging cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to a growing database of documentation surrounding infrastructure and hosted applications.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Cloud infrastructure and Application Environments
- Provide engineering solutions for product, service, and technical inquiries
- Drive Professional Services projects to successful completion, ensuring on-time delivery of all objectives.
- Building CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, GitLab, GitHub, /Codefresh)
- Monitoring tools (Datadog, Google ELK, Grafana, Cloudwatch)
- Hands-on with Containerization (Docker) and Orchestration (K8s, Rancher) (minimum 1 year)
- Minimum of 3 years experience using Kubernetes/Helm/Terraform. Most have a minimum of 1 year using Kubernetes, and 1 year using Terraform
- Experience using Atlassian JIRA to track Project Tickets, or a similar ticketing system
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP (minimum 2 year), Azure maybe acceptable in some scenarios
- Able to handle yourself in stressful environments when dealing with business-impacting issues
- Deal well with ambiguous or undefined problems; ability to think abstractly and guide others
- Must have a GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification, or be able to obtain one within your first 90 days of employment, on your own time
