POSITION SUMMARY:
The CSS – C&D Clearance role primarily manages new business for CA State Fund workers’ compensation submissions by creating clients in our Agency Management System and other administrative tasks pertaining to the business unit.
JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Utilize Agency Management System (Nexsure) to add/log/clear client/marketing/attachment as per information on all new CA State Fund workers’ compensation applications.
- Assigning Actions for our AMS queue system for Senior Assoc Brokers to pull assignments.
- Work directly with Retail Agent if submission is blocked and BOR would be needed for Amwins to work on CA State Fund workers’ compensation submission.
- Work directly with Retail Agent and redirect to APS Pod for all lines of business and other admitted workers’ compensation markets other than CA State Fund.
- Appropriately utilize technology (email, teams, and phone) to manage relationship with internal and external customers.
- Order loss runs for State Fund policies.
- Assist team with daily duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Experience working with the public preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to segregate work, set priorities and use time effectively.
- Aptitude for learning new systems and processes.
- Works effectively in a team environment.
- Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Office’s Excel, Outlook, and Word, and how to access and use internet search engines, i.e., Google, Bing, etc.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Prior work experience preferred, High school diploma, Higher education degree preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Sitting, standing, able to lift 10 pounds. This position resides in an office environment.

Pursuant to California regulation, the compensation range for this position is $20 - $25 hourly, and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
