Licensed Healthcare Insurance Agent-Open Enrollment (Remote)
Hours: 8:30 AM-6:30 PM Staggered Shifts M-F

What You’ll be Doing
You’ll receive a comprehensive three (3) week paid training program. After completing training, there will be a “nesting” period until open enrollment begins, allowing you to become familiar with the systems. Immediately after that, you’ll start advising individuals and families about how our insurance plans align with their unique needs. You’ll utilize your training and passion for customer care and sales to address customer questions, resolve issues, and make a positive impact in the lives of the public we serve.
As a Licensed Healthcare Insurance Agent, on a typical day, you will:
● Guide plan options that fit their budget and healthcare needs, differentiating products in the market
● Clarify areas of customer confusion or frustration to suggest solutions with an emphasis on empathy and strong closing techniques.
● Enroll individuals and families in the best available plan for their specific needs and budget.
● Actively listen to identify additional customer needs that different plan features and enhancements might fulfill.
● Answer customer questions about health insurance plans and benefits.
Qualifications and Requirements:
● Minimum one year ACA sales experience
● Proficiency with sales closing techniques
● Previous call center experience
● Active listening skills/attention to detail
● Dedicated, secure, distraction-free workspace
● High-speed internet access (10 MBPS Upload and 50 MBPS Download) with a hard-wired connection.
● Laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or greater (Apple/Mac, Chromebooks, and tablets are incompatible)
● Dual monitors and a webcam are required
● USB-Connected Headphones with Microphone and Mute Button. (Bluetooth is unacceptable.)
● Completion of pre-screening assessment
● High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule:
● The ability to commit to a 40-hour work week within our hours of operation of 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM EST.
● Training begins in early October.
● Production begins on November 1st and continues until December 15th.
● 100% attendance is required for both training and production
● One 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks.
License/Certification:
● Health Insurance License (Required)
● South Carolina Health Insurance License (Required)
● Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) Certification (Required)
