We're looking for a skilled and detail-driven Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to join our finance team. This role is essential in optimizing cash flow, analyzing receivables, and ensuring a strong financial position.
Key Responsibilities
AR Aging Analysis
- Regularly review and analyze AR aging reports
- Identify overdue accounts, trends in late payments, and high-risk customers
- Recommend action plans to reduce aging balances
Customer Risk Assessment
- Monitor customer payment behavior and credit limits
- Flag at-risk accounts and propose changes to credit terms or limits
- Collaborate with sales and credit teams on account management
Reporting and Dashboards
- Develop and maintain reports on AR metrics such as DSO and bad debt trend
- Prepare monthly summaries for finance and executive leadership
- Track collections performance against KPIs
Dispute Resolution Support
- Investigate deductions, short payments, and chargebacks
- Work with collections, customer service, and sales to resolve disputes
- Document root causes and recommend process improvements
Forecasting and Planning
- Contribute AR data to cash flow forecasting
- Provide insight into expected collections
- Support budgeting for bad debt allowances and write-offs
Process Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in AR processes
- Recommend automation tools and workflow enhancements
- Assist with ERP integrations and upgrades related to AR
Required Tools and Skills
Tools:
- ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)

- AR automation tools (e.g., HighRadius, Billtrust)
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy with large data sets
- Effective communication and collaboration across departments
- Solid understanding of GAAP and revenue cycle fundamentals
