This position serves as the first point of contact for prospective and existing customers. This highly visible role is instrumental in creating a positive and lasting impression of Wyyerd Fiber. You will be responsible for assisting customers with inquiries related to internet and phone services, including new service activations, changes, cancellations, billing questions, and general support. You will also work closely with our local staff to support administrative functions within the office.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach in identifying customer needs, resolving issues efficiently, and promoting appropriate products and services. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist walk-in customers at our Tucson office
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Wyyerd Fiber services and solutions
- Actively promote and up-sell products and services
- Support other team members in our Tucson location with general office administrative support
- Represent Wyyerd Fiber at community events as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or support role
- Proficiency with customer record systems and general office practices
- Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Capable of multitasking and managing time effectively
