We are seeking experienced Remote Inpatient Coders for contract-to-hire roles in Atlanta, GA. This position offers the opportunity to work with complex acute care pediatric and neonate cases, utilizing your expertise in inpatient coding. Work from home while contributing to a renowned Level 1 Pediatric Trauma & Teaching Hospital. Job Details
- Employment Type: Remote, Contract-to-Hire
- Duration: 26 weeks with potential for permanent hire
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Shift: 8-hour days, Monday to Friday
- Software: Epic & 3M 360
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1450 - $1550
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of inpatient coding experience
- Pediatric coding experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Epic and 3M 360 is required
- Must complete a brief coding test and participate in a Zoom interview
- Residency in one of the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin
Responsibilities
- Code all inpatient accounts, including complex acute care pediatrics and neonate cases
- Maintain productivity of 2–2.25 charts/hour
- Work under 100% quality review until a 95% accuracy rate is achieved
