Your new team:
The Program Marketing team at Energy Trust of Oregon leads marketing efforts to support energy efficiency and renewable energy programs. This includes developing and executing annual marketing plans, strategies, and campaigns; conducting customer insights research; creating culturally specific campaigns for priority communities; and managing creative agencies, vendors, and program contractors. Collaborating closely with the Energy Programs team, Program Marketing aligns on program design, customer journeys, and community-focused initiatives to produce marketing assets that engage customers, raise awareness, and promote services. Each year, the team manages 70+ campaigns across various channels to market 100+ products and services while partnering with internal departments and external stakeholders.
The Marketing Coordinator – Residential collaborates with the Marketing Specialist - Residential, senior program marketing staff, and program management staff within Energy Trust’s Residential program sector. This role focuses on organizing and managing tasks to support the execution of marketing projects, while ensuring smooth coordination and adherence to timelines. Projects could include scheduling and coordinating meetings, managing timelines in Asana, supporting project management, and overseeing procedural workflows. Responsibilities may also involve reviewing marketing materials for brand alignment and accuracy, coordinating approvals, and assisting with marketing campaigns by tracking content updates and logistics.
You will report to the Sr Marketing Manager – Residential.
This position is expected to report to the Portland office quarterly at a minimum for All-Staff Meeting and other in-person meetings, with additional in-office attendance required for Program Marketing team meetings first Thursdays each month.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide logistical and administrative collaboration to keep the Residential Program Marketing Team organized and efficient, including scheduling, meeting coordination, materials preparation, support for project management, building out timelines in Asana and procedural oversight.
- Assist in the coordination of marketing material reviews as well as review marketing materials before sending to team for approvals, and publications (ex/ newsletters, brochures, bill inserts), working with contractors and in-house teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, check grammar and verify technical details.
- Collaborate on the implementation of marketing campaigns by managing timelines, tracking content updates, and logistics. Coordinate logistics for marketing activities such as events, customer outreach, and marketing materials.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
· This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, journalism, marketing, or a related field is preferred; or equivalent professional experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields, including project coordination, task management, and marketing materials.
- Experience working with third party vendors and cross-functional teams is a plus
- Familiarity with marketing platforms such as MailChimp, google analytics, and customer relationship management tools (Asana, Sharepoint) is desirable but not required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and manage project logistics in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
