Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Business Development Specialist is to make B2B outbound sales calls to prospective clients (offering janitorial and non-janitorial services), qualify prospects, schedule appointments for our sales team and support operations through recruitment of business partners.
What you will do...
- Find and research businesses that would benefit from City Wide's services.
- Make 60-75 prospecting attempts (calls/emails) per day.
- Schedule qualified appointments for City Wide's outside sales team.
- Manage and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (Microsoft Dynamics), including – scheduled calls, updated client records, notes from each call, and appointments set.
- Support sales growth and facilitate the scheduling of qualified appointments for City Wide’s outside sales team.
- Prepare accurate reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis as defined by management.
- Recruit independent contractors to support our operations as needed.
- Manage monthly email campaigns using our platform.
- Support social media marketing and engagement.
- Other duties as necessary.
Requirements
- High School diploma required, bachelor’s degree in sales, project management, business a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, lead generation or sales roles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems required. Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Database, data manipulation, and problem solving skills highly desirable.
- Customer service-oriented and highly effective communication skills.
- Organized and detailed oriented; must be able to work independently.
- Highly motivated, team player mindset. Hustler mentality.
- In person in Hauppauge office. No remote option.
