Required Skills & Experience:
-Must have minimum 18 months of Nursing experience working in a pediatric ED environment.
-2+ Year of recent Pediatric ED Experience
-Demonstrated level of performance and practice is required.
-Must have ED experience within the past six months.
-Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
-Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
-Pediatric Emergency Department can reach up to 80 Patient Volume ED/per day. -----Float Requirements- float within department- ED Adult, Peds, IMC
Every Other Weekend Required.
Holidays- As Needed.
No on Call.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
-BLS-American Heart Assoc.
-ACLS-American Heart Assoc.
-PALS-American Heart Assoc.
-NIHSS
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
-NRP-American Heart Assoc.
