- 4:30 pm - 12:30 am
- Sunday - Thursday
Compensationdepends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
The expected base rate for this role is between $27.00 and $29.00 per hour.
- As applicable, this role will also receive: overtime compensation.
Main Ingredients of the Job!
As a US FOODS®Maintenance Mechanicyou will be responsible forpartnering with team members across the Transportation department on all clerical functions as required, with special emphasis on DOT rules and regulations compliance and reporting.
Great Maintenance Mechanic are crucial to theUS FOODS®team and one of the important faces of our organization. Our Maintenance Mechanicstrivesfor integrity and reliability, while building trusting relationships with team members.
Perform necessary repairs and maintenance to warehouse-related equipment (i.e., pallet jacks, high lifts, forklifts, etc.) to ensure that adequate machinery is available for day and night warehouse operations.
Comply with all USF and government guidelines regarding safety when working on equipment (i.e., Lock Out/Tag Out, placarding and required documentation, safe work environment, etc.)
Responsible for company tools and maintenance equipment used in performance of job duties, including inventory maintenance, safe operation, proper storage, and security of tool area.
