About the Role
CARS Protection Plus is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Agent Support Claims Specialist to serve as a liaison between agents and our claims department. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication, problem resolution, and support for agents navigating the claims process.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between agents and the claims department, ensuring a smooth and efficient claims process.
- Provide expert-level guidance on claims procedures, policy coverage, and required documentation.
- Utilize strong mechanical knowledge to interpret claims, assess vehicle repair needs, and communicate technical details to agents.
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls and emails, addressing agent inquiries with professionalism and urgency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve claim-related issues, demonstrating excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of agent interactions within the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline communication and improve agent support services.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive repair processes.
- Experience working with CRM software to track and manage interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex claims processes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized while handling a high volume of calls.
- Prior experience in claims support, customer service, or a related role is preferred.
- Must be based in Pittsburgh, PA, or the surrounding areas and able to report to home office when required.
