About the Role:
As the Sales Development Manager at Perry Weather, you will be responsible for developing and managing our growing Sales Development team. You will be responsible for building a positive environment in a fast-paced, performance-based environment. You will provide continuous mentorship for the Sales Development team by refining our outreach process, tracking KPIs, and ensuring that your team delivers a qualifying pipeline. As an integral part of the sales leadership team, you will be expected to fully understand Perry Weather’s solution, value proposition, sales enablement tools, processes, and how to improve them over time.
Responsibilities:
- Directly manage the Sales Development team responsible for qualifying leads & generating pipeline through cold calls and outbound activities
- Collaborate with sales leadership on strategy, process improvements, and targeting within each territory
- Maintain a performance-based culture using positivity and constructive reinforcement
- Conduct hands-on training through live coaching, role-playing, call analysis, and 1:1s
- Develop key metrics for optimal performance measurement and management to ensure sales organization success
- Accurately forecast weekly, monthly, and quarterly goal attainment
- Experience leading a team or being in a player/coach role
- 2+ years of business development, pipeline generation, and full sales cycle experience
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota
- Ability to drive and manage cross-functional initiatives
- High level of self-motivation, ownership, and adaptability
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
