Job Summary
The Director of Clinical Talent Development oversees the development and implementation of clinical leadership onboarding and development programs across the company. This role collaborates closely with the Clinical Support leadership team to identify learning needs, create clinical staff development strategies, and ensure the effective delivery of initiatives. This role leads several people leaders and their teams, evaluates training effectiveness, and continuously improves training methods to enhance employee performance and organizational success.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Leads a team of clinical talent development managers and clinical instructors who deliver training and certification programs, coach nursing leaders to build strong teams, and offer training solutions to strengthen organizational capabilities and effectiveness.
• Continuously builds the Clinical Talent Development teams’ skills and capabilities, ensuring strong program design, facilitation, delivery, and learning-related outcomes.
• Responsible for managing key aspects of the learning and development lifecycle by partnering with Clinical Support to develop training calendar support activities, scheduling, logistics, vendor management, attendance record updates, and preparation of evaluation reports.
• Orchestrates needs assessments, focus groups, and surveys to create intentional feedback loops resulting in continuous improvement based on stakeholders’ and learners’ feedback.
• Build relationships and consults with key stakeholders and functional leaders to conduct training needs assessments and build training strategies based on evolving company needs.
• Evaluate Clinical Training sites for regulatory compliance while ensuring that the CNA Instructors adhere to the company and state compliance.
• Oversee the execution and continuous improvement of CNA program including graduation rates and enrollment.
• Creates dashboards for data transparency and insights around training offerings, ROI, and divisional performance against KPIs.
• Handles all training requests and requirements including classroom-based training, e-learning, virtual training support, and assessments.
• Manages training budgets for designated projects and initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Nursing Degree Required (BSN,MSN)
Experience: 5-8 years
Licenses and Certifications
Certification(s) in instructional design, learning technology, or related fields is a requirement.
Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
