An RN MS OB Safety Edu Trainer is responsible for facilitating experiential learning in high-risk obstetric and neonatal simulation scenarios. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, recent clinical experience, and expertise in educational techniques. The trainer collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assess clinical skills, provide guidance during simulations, and facilitate debriefing sessions to enhance learning outcomes.
Responsible for facilitation of experiential learning in situ and debriefing of high risk obstetric and/or neonatal simulation scenarios.
Education- Bachelor's degree In Nursing: required for nursing applicants required
Experience- 3-4 years Recent inpatient obstetric and/or neonatal clinical experience required and
- 3-4 years Education/preceptor and/or simulation experience required
Licenses and Certifications- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Upon Hire required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and prioritization skills.
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively interact with multi-disciplinary teams.
Shares clinical expertise and facilitate learning in their specialty.Supports simulation scenarios by providing guidance, supervision, and assessment of participants' clinical skills and decision-making.Facilitates debriefing sessions with participants to discuss learning outcomes and areas for improvement.Collaborates with entity and system educators and leaders to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive learning experience.Follows the responsibilities outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure as determined by Obstetric System Education Program Coordinator. Assists with scenario development as needed.Provides debrief notes to Project Coordinator.Attends MOST team meetings.
