The Clinical Nutrition team at Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking passionate Registered Dietitians for their available Clinical Nutrition Specialist opportunities! Current openings include both per-diem, part-time and full-time schedules, based within our Inpatient Units & Outpatient settings.
40 hour positions are eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus!*Position schedules vary between 24-40 hours per week*
Current openings including inpatient positions for Medicine/ surgery,and outpatient positions for a variety of specialty clinics including Genetics/Metabolism, Spina Bifida.
The Pediatric Registered Dietitian will be responsible for:- Providing nutritional care to patients within specific inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans.
- Assisting in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician.
To qualify, you must have:- A Bachelor's degree in nutrition.
- Three plus years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition, preferred.
- Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian
- Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
- Analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in‑depth, experienced‑based knowledge.
- Good communication skills to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions and well‑developed writing skills
- Spanish language skills a plus
