Our organization includes private Independent Living Apartments and an Assisted Living Facility with three levels of progressive needs-based care. We invest in our Team by supporting a dynamic, high-performance, fun and friendly workplace with our Residents as our collaborative focus. We are searching for a qualified professional for the position of 2nd Shift Charge Nurse. This individual will oversee a small team of Nurse Aides in providing daily cares, administer medications, review & process physician orders, while exercising grace and love interacting with residents, their family members and visitors. *Successful Charge Nurses:* * See the person behind the disease and mentor others to do the same * Engage Residents, visitors, and coworkers in uplifting conversations * Serve Residents with patience and dignity * Anticipate Resident and Team needs, and seek to exceed expectations * Are able to adapt to the needs of the care environment * Lead the Nurse Aides with grace and confidence *Qualifications:* * Education: Minimum Associate's Degree or equivalent in Nursing * Licenses: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), State of Michigan * Experience: Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program * At least 2 years experience working with the elderly *Position Details:* * 32-hours per week * Second Shift (2p-10:30p) * Every-other weekend required *Compensation: *$35.00 - $45.00/ hour, based on experience *About Us*: Rest Haven Homes, founded in 1941, is a senior-care community to over 100 residents.
