The Hospital Laboratory Director will be responsible for ensuring the laboratories operate in compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements, including those of JCAHO, CMS, and CLIA. This role involves overseeing the implementation and adherence to administrative and technical policies and procedures. The Director will develop laboratory budgets, including capital equipment budgets, and seek ways to reduce expenses without compromising quality or service.
