About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Support Representative who is passionate about helping users and ensuring they have the best experience possible on Smule. You’ll be the front-line rockstar (or popstar, or hip-hop legend—your choice) providing top-notch support to our community. Whether it’s troubleshooting technical issues, answering questions about features, or helping users hit the high notes of their Smule journey, you’ll play a key role in keeping our platform harmonious.
Responsibilities
- Support Smule users via email, chat, and other channels, ensuring a positive experience for our global community.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to account access, app functionality, and subscription inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Community to advocate for user needs and provide feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with Smule’s latest features to provide accurate and relevant support.
- Document user interactions to help build a knowledge base that benefits both our team and our users.
- Identify trends and escalate issues to improve the overall Smule experience.
Requirements
- 1+ year of customer support experience, preferably in a tech, SaaS, or mobile app environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal—you know how to hit the right note with users.
- A passion for music and technology—you understand the power of music to connect people.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail—you can orchestrate solutions efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting mobile apps on iOS and Android is a plus.
