Unit Information: A 6 West Neurosciences Location: Mission Hospital Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue Asheville, NC 28801 Floor: 6 th A Tower Building: Main Campus General Information Tell us about the unit (s) : Number of Beds - 36 Number of Staff – 40 Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 Charge 6 RNs 3 CNAs 1 HUC Night Shift – 1 Charge 6 RNs 2 CNAs 1 HUC Patient Ratios – 5:1, 6:1 stretch day shift 7:1 stretch night shift Type of equipment – Standard Med Surge Equipment EMR - Cerner Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. NIH ACLS Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Neuro experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Foley insertion IV start Best personality Fit: Outgoing, self-motivated REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS, NIH Floating Area ( s ) : Other med surge floors Dress Code : Scrub Color /Attire - Navy Blue Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines .
