Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or AOD, manages nurses within Prisma Health Resource Staffing on the Richland campus. Works with the nursing management team to ensure Prisma Health's internal staffing needs are met through Prisma Health Resource Staffing. All employees are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity, and teamwork.
Accountabilities
- Continuously assesses and documents staff performance.
- Implements and maintains standards/rules/procedures in compliance with regulatory/hospital.
- Participates with the development/implementation/evaluation of department goals.
- Assist with planning and managing the department budget and resources to meet financial target.
- Provides effective leadership by coordinating and integrating services within the department, with other departments and Prisma Health facilities.
- Assist in the management of human resources by: determining qualifications, competence and performance expectations; implementing and monitoring staffing plans; coordinating orientation, in-service training and continuing education of all persons in the department.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
2 years of RN experience in appropriate area of nursing
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
Other Required Skills and Experience
Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
Certified in nursing specialty preferred.
In Lieu of
In lieu of the BSN requirement above, a nursing diploma or an Associate's Degree in Nursing may be considered if the applicant signs a Memorandum of Understanding agreeing to enroll in an accredited BSN or MSN program within one year and obtain a BSN or MSN degree within four years.
