GENERAL FUNCTION OF POSITION
The Anthem-GBD department is responsible for processing all incoming healthcare claim forms sent by our client: Anthem. All these claims need to be digitalized in a form provided by the company, Conduent. Additional responsibilities will be to focus on imputing all details of the claim with high accuracy while meeting the expected keystrokes per hour or words per minute stablished by the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Image Classification.
- Performs Indexing.
- General data entry.
- Review and confirm all data captured is correct before submitting/completing the document.
- Utilizing various systems to work on the different tasks we have.
- Works within established procedures and practices
- Works with a close degree of supervision.
JOB REQUIRMENTS
- Classifies documents based on contract requirements.
- Captures information based on client requirements.
- Proficient on computers
- Verifies data from automated data extraction tools.
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines while performing functions with high accuracy rates
- Maintain or exceed 4,000 ksph for numeric, and 2,500 ksph alpha/numeric with less than 1% error rate
- Preferred to have basic knowledge of medical claims form, not indispensable.
- Has experience working through VPN connection.
- Has basic computer knowledge, internet usage, Microsoft applications.
- Must be able to pass background and drug test
- Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $26,000 - $33,250.
