The Inventory and Production Support Specialist will be responsible for cycle counting, inventory audits, and ensuring the accuracy of physical and virtual inventory records. This role will also involve preparing and managing equipment for outbound shipments, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, and serving as a backup on the production line when needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management:- Conduct daily cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy between physical and virtual inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, updating the Inventory Tracking Form (ITF) as needed.
- Pull and prepare equipment for outbound shipments, including PCs, Arubas, and accessories, ensuring all items are tested and functional.
- Log all equipment transfers in the ITF and physical transfer log, obtaining necessary signatures.
- Equipment Preparation and Maintenance:
- Prepare equipment for Site Kick Off (SKO) events, ensuring all required items (PCs, Arubas, stands, chargers, etc.) are ready for deployment.
- Test and troubleshoot returned equipment, performing factory resets on Arubas as needed.
- Maintain all PCs and Arubas in an operational state, ensuring they remain powered on and connected to the network 24/7.
- Organize and label equipment by region, ensuring cables and accessories are neatly stored.
Production Line Support:- Serve as a backup on the production line when needed, assisting with equipment assembly, testing, and packaging.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Submit bi-weekly client reports detailing the status of all equipment, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Investigate and respond to client-provided offline equipment reports, troubleshooting issues and providing timely updates.
- Notify the Depot Manager of inventory shortages or equipment issues promptly.
Special Projects:- Assist with special projects, such as equipment refreshes or large-scale shipments, following detailed plans and schedules.
- Maintain clear communication with the inventory manager and other stakeholders throughout project execution.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, equipment handling, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Basic technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and reset network equipment (e.g., Arubas).
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Internal Eligibility Criteria: - No active PIP within the last 6 months
- Good Attendance Record, 85% or higher for the last 90 days
- QA Scores, 85% or higher average for the last 90 days
- LOB KPIs at or above goal for the last 90 days
- For lateral transfers, 6 months in current role/LOB
- For promotions, no minimum tenure required
