Smoker & Company LLC is seeking a dedicated IT Help Desk Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, providing technical support to our staff and ensuring seamless operation of our digital infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing hardware and software issues, guiding users through solutions, and maintaining IT equipment across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background along with excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively assist users with varying levels of IT knowledge. As an integral part of our IT department, you will also have the opportunity to work on projects that enhance the company's IT capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees in the organization via help desk software, in-person, or over the phone.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up and manage user accounts and permissions.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and monitor IT resources.
- Assist in deploying new applications and updates.
- Document issues and solutions in the help desk system for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Experience with help desk software and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in IT (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
