This rural hospital plays a critical role in the community, offering comprehensive medical services and emergency care.Sampson Regional Medical CenterClinton, NC23 ED Beds, 5 Fast Track Beds34,000 patientsEmergency Medicine Physician (Board Certified Required)Coverage Dates:November 30, 2024 - February 28, 2025 (various shifts available; will send full schedule if interested)Additional future on going dates available.Shift Times:7A-7P or 7P-7A (shift times vary per date)Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a rural hospital setting.Collaborate with a team consisting of 1 physician and 2 mid-level providers covering shifts from 9A-9P and 12P-12A.Manage patient admissions, care duties, and complex cases as required.Utilize Meditech 6.1 EMR system Transfer severe trauma, stroke, and cardiac cases to tertiary centers as needed.Additional Information:Setting: Rural hospital with specialist back-up support.ICU: Open ICU.Specialized Transfers: Severe cases transferred to nearby facilities by ground or air.Requirements:Must be Board CertifiedCertifications: BLS, ATLSNC Medicaid/Medicare credentialed and enrolled in PECOSMust be COVID-19 vaccinatedPlease, send me your CV if you are interested so I can send it to the client for consideration.
