We are currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Medical Oncology for a long-term locum tenens assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an outpatient setting with a reputable facility in a beautiful area of Oregon.
Position Details: - Start Date: March 1, 2025 (or as soon as credentialed)
- Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (flexible schedule possible)
- Setting: Outpatient only (no inpatient responsibilities)
- Patient Load: Approximately 12 patients per shift
- Call: No call required
- Support Staff:
- 3 RNs
- 2 Medical Assistants
- EMR System: Epic
Certification and Licensing Requirements: - Active Oregon license required
- BLS certification required
- DEA certification required
- AOCNP Certification required (Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner)
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology (for PAs)
Additional Information: - No weekends or holidays required
- Physician coverage will be primarily remote, providing oversight and support as needed
- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
