General job duties include collaborating with inter-professional colleagues, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards.Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.Responsible for planning and coordination of care, patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.Equipment utilized includes One Chart/EPIC, Omnicell, Phillips tele monitoring/remote telemetry.
Job Requirements
1 year ICU experience required; ER skills are a plus.Active MN state RN license required.BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
Schedule Information
12 hour rotating shifts, 2 weekends on a 6 week schedule, no call requirements.Opportunity for additional shifts.
Unit Specific Information
One Day ICU, One Day Med Surg, One Day ER training if skills are available.
Additional Details
Candidate may require time off during initial assignment.Candidate's employment status (1099 employee) needs to be clarified.Minimum 1 year recent ICU experience within a critical access facility is required.Candidates must be able to work with both MS and ICU patients interchangeably.Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be AHA certified.
