The Hematology/Oncology Physician is responsible for providing specialized care to patients with blood disorders and cancers. The role requires diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of hematologic and oncologic conditions, including but not limited to leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumors, and anemias.
50% Hematology/50% Oncology patient mix, most common cases are breast, colon, lung, prostate.
Care team model, 1 dedicated RN and 1 MA per physician, 2 NPs.
Chemo certified RNs for inpatient chemotherapy administration.
