23andme/Lemonaid is seeking telemedicine care providers to provide synchronous and asynchronous virtual patient care.
About the Position
Work in a fast-paced, innovative company that puts the patient first. We hire clinical care professionals who deliver medical care using telemedicine modalities including video, phone and asynchronous secure messaging.
Care Providers are members of an interdisciplinary care team working as staff clinicians with 23andme/Lemonaid. They work independently and are responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making within the industry and locally established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and organization policies and procedures. Responsibilities
Reviews patient medical histories and lab work to diagnose, treat, and construct care plans
Completes both asynchronous and synchronous consultations
Delivers care targeting a range of common chronic and acute conditions
Demonstrates flexibility by adapting as needed to change processes and practice in an evolving environment
Communicates effectively with other providers, including using comprehensive charting and messaging
Delivers patient care that balances the best that medical science has to offer, patient preferences and values, and invests in patients' future confidence and skills
Provide feedback about opportunities to improve the quality of care and operational processes
Adhere to 23andme/Lemonaid platform guidelines and policies and complete all required training
Requirements
Must possess active, non-restrictive medical licensure in multiple states
Board-certified physician (MD or DO) from a US-accredited medical school
Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
MUST have an NPI
2+ active medical state licenses in good standing is a strong plus
Licenses in California, Texas, Florida, New York are a strong plus
Willingness to work more than 10+ hours per week is a strong plus
Must have no history of malpractice
Outstanding clinical expertise, evidence-based practice
Competent in providing patient education at every visit
Communicate professionally, tactfully, and kindly while maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Above average comfort with technology (since care we provide is online).
Timely and professional
Telemedicine/virtual care experience a plus
Work Schedule:
Weekend hours preferred
Additional hours available upon request

$30/Synchronous visit
$20/Asynchronous + Call
$8/Asynchronous visit
$5/Unable to treat
