Labor & Delivery RN position at HCA Florida University HospitalUnit Information: 9 labor beds, 3 triage beds, and 7 perinatal unit bedsPatient Ratios: labor and delivery 2:1, perinatal 4:1Documentation System: Meditech, CPNCall Requirements: 12 hour shifts/week and one call shift per monthFloating Requirements: float to perinatal unit and post-partumTypical Procedures: vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, tubal ligations, cerclage removal
Job Requirements
Must have: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN (intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring every 2 years or current NCC certification in EFM)Must be able to labor, deliver and recover patientsAble to care for high-risk patients in the perinatal unitMust be able to care for all facets of the pregnant patient throughout the pregnancy period up to and including delivery vaginal or operative
Schedule Information
12 hour shifts/weekOne call shift per month
