An Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician is urgently needed for locum tenens work near Bonnetsville, NC, to provide care during on-call shifts, including handling emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries. The provider will be responsible for rounding on patients and performing GYN procedures, supported by hospitalist and anesthesiologist teams, with credentialing taking approximately 2 weeks. Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate, housing, car rental, and additional stipends for on-call duties.

Locum OBGYN needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Bonnetsville, NC. NC license preferred.

Call Type: Beeper.
Provider will round on patients, on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries. Provider also available for any emergent GYN procedures.
High risk deliveries will only be emergent (no NICU at our facility).
High risk transfer to New Hanover Regional or Cape Fear Valley for NICU - both approx. 30-45 mins.
Level 1 nursery at Sampson Regional.
Hospitalist support staff, 24/7 on call Anesthesiology support, 24/7 on call Radiology support, Average 27 deliveries monthly with average of 11 C-Sections, 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum, census is typically 1-3 deliveries/24 hr period.
Hospital will call cell phone.
EMR: MediTech 6.1.
NC Medicaid and Medicare.
ACLS, ABLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS.
Licensed in NC only.
Credentialing: 2 weeks.
$500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
$Competitive Rate weeknight call Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day Premium When Called In.
