We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Falmouth, VA. This role involves working 24-hour shifts within a well-equipped trauma center that accommodates a high volume of emergency cases. Locum Emergency Physician needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Falmouth, VA.
- 24 hours of Physician Coverage. 7 am and 7 pm shift change. We will consistently look at flow and make coverage adjustments/increases as necessary
- 10,000 square feet
- Fully equipped Trauma bay.
- Separate adult and pediatric waiting area.
- 11 private treatment rooms.
- State of the art imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology.
- Ambulance bay for EMS access.
- Candidates must be BC/BE via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).
- ABPS EM boarded candidates are welcome.
- Projecting 8,500 Anticipated ER visits year 1, approximately 23 visits per day
- $1250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
