Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Recruiting Coordinator to manage administrative tasks related to onboarding, internship programs, and employee documentation. This role plays a vital part in facilitating a seamless experience for new hires and supporting recruiting efforts. Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding and I-9 Verification:
Coordinate communication between recruiters, hiring managers, and new hires to ensure efficient onboarding.
Facilitate the timely completion and verification of I-9 forms through virtual or in-person meetings.
Update and complete I-9 tasks in the Workday system.
Weekly Reporting and Updates:
Generate and update weekly new hire and part-time conversion reports.
Track IT equipment requests and ensure new hire information is documented accurately.
Attend weekly IT status meetings to provide updates on onboarding progress and equipment statuses.
Offer and Internship Coordination:
Support internship programs by preparing offer letters and managing semester-to-semester rehires.
Document intern transitions, including end dates, and communicate details with hiring managers.
Ensure exiting interns receive necessary information and documentation.
Initial Screening and Support:
Review applicant qualifications and assist in pre-screening candidates.
Maintain organized records by uploading qualified resumes into shared folders.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of recruiting coordination or HR experience.
Strong interest in recruiting and reviewing resumes.
Proficiency in tools such as Workday, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Additional Details:
Schedule: Monday remote, Tuesday onsite, Wednesday remote (consistent weekly schedule).
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 months with potential to extend.
